Education Conference

Saturday, May 2, 1:30 – 4 p.m.

Join us for a CME program with a panel discussion: Public Health in Wisconsin: What It Means for Physicians, Medical Students, and Their Patients.

Experts with national, state, and local perspectives will discuss how public health touches everyday clinical practice. Using real-world examples—panelists will examine how public health successes and failures affect ED volume, care coordination, and physician workload. The discussion will address the clinical–public health disconnects, the impact of policy and funding, and why physician input matters in shaping public health policy. Attendees will gain practical, sustainable strategies for engagement and leadership to improve both patient care and community health outcomes.
