The multi-specialty nature of Doctor Day makes Wisconsin's annual physicians' advocacy event unique compared to similar events across the country. Physicians and medical students from nearly 20 different physician organizations annually participate in Doctor Day.

Advocating for patients and the medical profession is a year-round process and much more than just one event. Doctor Day has shown to be an excellent way to “get your foot in the door” for those new to advocacy and an eagerly-anticipated event for more experienced health care policy enthusiasts.
