The Wisconsin Medical Society is the only organization in the state that represents ALL physicians. We defend against threats to a physician's ability to deliver quality patient care. But, we can’t do that without support from our members. And that’s why you should get involved. The best way to do that is to become a member. Membership allows you to engage in products, services, events and resources. But most importantly, it adds your voice to our efforts to help you be heard, be strong and be secure.
How to Join
Membership in the Society requires an easy one-time payment of annual dues. These dues allow us to support robust advocacy efforts, programming and education and other important services that keep the profession strong.

What are County Medical Societies?
As a statewide organization, we believe it is critical to have regional membership groups to better support fellowship and community among physicians. The County Medical Societies (CMS) are a unified component of the membership cost, and an important piece of the Society’s network of members.
Some CMSs are more active than others. Reach out to our membership team to learn more about your CMS and how you can get involved at the local level.
Our staff is here to help answer your questions about the Society membership, but also about advocacy, burnout, financial security and other issues impacting your practice. Reach out today by calling 608.442.3800 or emailing our membership team.
