How Medicine Solves Crime
The 2009 Foundation Fundraising Event

Featuring Gary Telgenhoff, MD, Consultant
To CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

Thursday, April 16, 2009
Monona Terrace Convention Center

5 p.m. Silent Auction • 7 p.m. Dinner • 8 p.m. Program

The Wisconsin Medical Society Foundation’s 2009 Annual Fundraising Dinner and Silent Auction will feature a unique opportunity to meet Gary Telgenhoff, MD, Forensic Pathologist, Deputy Medical Examiner at the Clark County Coroner’s Office, Las Vegas, and Consultant to CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Dr. Telgenhoff has tried to portray his profession in the most accurate light through his role as consultant to the show, but some myths continue to be perpetuated despite his best efforts. Part of his presentation will help dispel those myths and give our audience a more accurate and fascinating “behind the scenes” peek into “How Medicine Solves Crime.”

Dr. Telgenhoff copes with the stress of his specialty through his passion as a rock musician. He has written songs to help work through the emotional impact of his day job and has had at least one original song used on CSI.

This event will not only be a memorable evening, it also provides an opportunity for you to host a table and invite your guests to join the other 450–500 medical and business leaders from throughout Wisconsin expected to attend. As our only annual fundraising event, your generous sponsorship is critical to our ability to award scholarships and grants and to meet our mission to advance the health of the people of Wisconsin—people like you, your family, your friends and your employees.
